I was sent this drone to review, but this is not a paid post. The things I say here are my honest thoughts, just like in all of my other films. I’m excited to talk about what I think about the Potensic Atom 2.
Redesigned for Control
The Potensic Atom 2’s brand-new controller feels much better than its original, which is one of its best features. It feels like it will last longer because the build quality is better and stronger. It now has better grips on the sides to make it easier to hold and a slot just for the wire to make sure the connection goes smoothly.
There are also buttons that can be changed, which gives the user more power. The Atom 2’s range has also grown from 6 km on the first Atom to an impressive 10 km, which makes long-distance trips safer.
Potensic Atom 2: Power, Precision, Performance
The Atom 2 is a great flyer, and the controls are quick and smooth, which makes it easy to move around while recording video. GPS provides a stable hover, with no drift seen during testing. It also offers Return to Home (RTH) functionality, with both the normal RTH functionality and a new smart version.
When Dynamic Home Point is turned on, when Return to Home is pressed, the drone goes back to where the controller was instead of where it took off. Even though this may not seem like a big deal, it’s a very useful feature because you can sometimes walk behind drones while they’re flying to keep your line of sight and help you make exact moves.
The Atom 2 is a small and light drone, but it can handle Level 5 wind resistance, which means it can go as fast as 23.6mph. There are three flight modes: Video, Normal, and Sport. The fastest speed is 35.8mph in Sport mode, while Video mode makes the flight smoother and slower. Plus, Remote ID is already built in, which is great for pilots in the US.

Final Verdicts
The Potensic Atom 2 is a huge improvement over the Atom 1. It comes with a better keyboard, better cameras, new software features, and better AI. There are still things that could be done to make this drone better, like adding waypoints and 4K slow motion, but for the price, it does a great job.
